Im stuffed!!!

Ahhhh.. Last nite's "Breakfast" at the Kitchen Academy..was INCREDIBLE!!! Sooo much food..too little tummy!

Everything I tasted was delicious...and my now new favorite food is Crepes Suzette!!

Sara was in charge last nite of making these sweet little triangles of heavenly goodness!! Made with Grand Marnier (French cognac based orange liqueur) and topped with little mandarin oranges and a pretty dusting of powdered sugar..they were the Hit of the Party!! (at least in my tummy anyways ..hehehe)

There were Eggs Benedict.. Quiches of 4 different varieties, bacon, sausage, omelettes made to order, french toast on baguette bread that i hear was just as heavenly.. Crepes Mornay, i know im missing alot of others..and juices.. freshly made juices of all sorts.. my favorite was the strawberry orange juice!! yum!!! ( i think im getting hungry again!!)

The Theme of the night was "The Breakfast Club".. the decorations were done in a school cafeteria style setting..with brown paper table covers and brown paper lunch bags as centerpieces that held an Apples, Pencils, "Rules".. and bubble gum tossed about the table! It was cute!

We got to meet Sara's instructor, Chef Pierre. He is very proud of Sara and her enthusiasm, skills ,attitude and work effort :) This just made our buttons pop :) I think we beamed all night long :) ( oh ya..and even saw a celebrity strolling thru the area outside.. but we can't think of his name!!!!)

The class did such a great job on the food, decorations and the presentation of it all.. both Tim and I were very impressed. Everyone was very professional acting..and looking..and took pride in what they were doing :)

Congratulations Sara on doing such a wonderful job last nite... We Love you and are soooo very proud of you :) :) :)

Wow Sandy, how wonderful. Sounds like your daughter is doing great in school. You all look so happy in the photo together.

I'll have to learn more about the school she's attending. My daughter has wanted to be a chef since she was old enough to stir scrambled eggs!! She's done extremely well in her "self-training". She's only 13 right now, but we are taking her serious about going to cooking school.

Have a great day:
