Are you all getting ready for the Pfreaky PFATT Pfright????

Late tonite..verrrry late tonite...the Pfatt Marketplace will throw open its PFreaky PFATT PFright doors and reveal a mother load of Halloween treats..all available under one roof!!

We always have so much fun doing our Themed months...and the work that comes in is amazing and i swear, the BEST online or anywhere!! These girls (and guy!) put their heart and soul into everything they make and it shows!
So please drop by...bring your treat bags..and your mula..and your drool bibs and be pleasantly 'treated' by all of our halloween offerings :)

ok..seriously..

...enuf play time! i need to stay home and WORK!!!
hubs decided thursday .. at 2 in the afternoon... to head to the desert for a couple of nites!!

"WTF??? I JUST cleaned the camper out.. we JUST put it away..and now you wanna DIRTY IT AGAIN??"

Yep!

And so we did!

The skies were going to be clear..so he wanted to take his telescope out to the desert and see what he could see :)
So we managed to pack up in record time.. well actually..it was our very first spur-of-the-moment trip.. but i think we packed up in record time. 3 hrs and we were all gas'd up.. stocked up.. and hitched up..and off we were!!

After two very QUIET, peaceful nites in the desert..we headed back. I am gonna have to DUCT tape my butt to my chair and get crackalackin'!
The Pfatt Marketplace is having "Pfreaky Pfatt Pfright" for the month of June..and I sorta kinda have something Im working on. I sure hope its done by the 10th~ and I have to whip something up for a doorprize yet too.. so much to do...so little time!!!

Ok.. Im suppose to list 6 unimportant things about me...
what? only 6?? ha ha haaaa
goshhhhhhhh...

1. i have a birthmark on the back of my right leg..my grandmother also has one in the same spot!

2. i go into 'mushroom' modes..and feel very socially withdrawn when im stressed out

3. i worked at an icecream shop for one day.

4. i hate spiders. detest them. gross. yuck. puke.

5. i like to go snake hunting.

6. when i was little..i believed there was something 'under my bed'..so before entering my room..i would get a running start..and as soon as i hit the doorway..i'd LEAP to my bed!

ok..chew on that for a while..

I could soooo easily...

....live in Yosemite for the rest of my days :)
It was soooo hard to leave such beautiful surroundings... and to even top off our week..it sprinkled lightly the morning we left..and we woke to the pitter patter sounds of rain drops dancing on our rooftop :)

The water was flowin'...and everything was so green and lush! Lots of bear sighting reports from the campers around us.. but we didn't see any :(

We celebrated our 23 wedding anniversary there..with a delicious meal at the Ahwahnee hotel..and it was one of the highlights of the trip. The food was yummy..the piano player didn't sound too bad..and my date for the nite was dapper and dashing :)

so now im left longing to return..
this time.. a longer stay perhaps?? 5 days just isn't enough time to soak in the natural beauty of such a great park..

This one perhaps my favorite.. a sort of surreal photo.. although the top half of the picture is a little blurry.. something about the grass and the tree on the right being in focus makes me feel like im in some sort of dream. a feeling of being a pixie hiding in the grass..





Our adventure involved a 2 hour trail ride on horses..of course..Tim had the pleasure of riding a mule :) "Miss Budweiser" was her name..a pack mule..that carries supplies up the mountain. Apparently during one of those trip..she was carrying.. you guessed it.. Budweiser beer..and one case just happened to topple out and spill all over the trail. Miss Budweiser knows how important it is to keep the national parks pristine clean..so she proceeded to lick and lap up alllllll the beer that spilled out :)
