I used to get pretty blue on Christmas afternoon, with that same, "what?!? -- it's over? -- all the work for this day to just flash by?!?" feeling. But I've conquered it by really coming to believe that "Christmas" is not one day, but IS all the days leading up to it in preparation AND all the days afterwards, enjoying the tree and the gifts and the leftovers. If you can bring yourself around to this way of thinking, it really does give an emotional boost to the holiday! Happy New Year to you--
