Things Making Me Smile Today :)

While my bunnies hop around in the yard outback...Im inside..happily displaying my "Peep" that I purchased from the very talented, Christy Meyers (ccswhimsies) and a new lil Birdie i picked up while in Julian over the weekend :)
I love birds.. and am lovin' this one with its crackled look..and thinking that I need to collect LOTS more :)

Can't wait for april to get here so I can spend time with one of my bestest buds.. and hopefully get to take a workshop together in San Diego!!!

TJ surprised me with a single white carnation :) (and so I had to capture the moment)..sitting in a vase on my window sill.. it was somehow capturing the light thru the bottom part of the vase..and creating this 'inner glow' inside the carnation. It was really quite pretty! I really didn't need the flash..as you can see the light coming from the 'inside' of the flower... it was so freaky! :)

So getting a flower from one of my boys typically must mean that they want a favor..right?? lol Im still waiting .. thinking there must be something he wants...right????

So i was a good Mommy today and did a load of laundry for him ;)

Love the duck and the bluebird, so sweet!! LOL, if one of my boys brought me a flower, I'd be thinking the same thing ;) That is so neat how the light is eminating from the center!

I've always wanted to go to Julian, just haven't yet. Is there lots of good antiquing there?

I have many antique glass birds. I like the ones that no one else wants. I always choose the ones that have lots of crazing or a teeny chip.

How sweet of TJ to give you the carnation! As a mom of boys, I would be wondering what he wanted as well! Take care!

What a sweet son! He has such a great mom too :-)

I love Julian. When we lived in Carlsbad, we went there for the apple festival in the fall. Such a sweet little town!

CC's stuff is really beautiful! I am a huge fan of hers :-)
