Destruction...

The huge field out behind our house is finally being cleared away.. to make room for the next High school to be built here in Murrieta.
Its a sad day.. as they have started tearing down the many large trees on the property :( Hawks are circling overhead..birds, bunnies and squirrels are scattering :(
It always saddens me to see such big trees taken down. Last nite as i lay in bed reading.. I heard a lone coyote.. a sort of cry or call out ..like he was looking for the rest of his family. Not the usual 'i've caught a bunny for supper' scream.. but instead a sad song being sung :(
